Sapphire Technology ha presentato la HD 3870 Ultimate Edition, scheda video con raffreddamento passivo a heatpipe e specifiche standard. Questa scheda è equipaggiata con 512 MB di memoria GDDR4 che lavora alla frequenza 1.125 MHz (2,25 GHz effettivi) ed è caratterizzata da una velocità di clock della GPU di 775 MHz. La scheda supporta le DirectX 10.1 ed perfettamente compatibile con Windows Vista.
